NPO releases new mobile site for Radio 1 in cooperation with MoMac
The NPO, the Dutch public Broadcaster, has chosen MoMac for the development of the new mobile site for Radio 1. Radio 1 is the Dutch national radio station. Besides the new look-and-feel the new mobile portal has been expanded with new features as well. Visitors of the mobile site are able to listen live to the radio broadcast and are also able to see which program is broadcasted now and next.
The mobile portal gives extensive news information as the radio channel is considered as the national news radio station together with weather and traffic information. On the mobile site visitors will also find fragments of earlier broadcasts and the radio guide for this specific radio channel. The mobile site is also equipped with interactive elements such as the possibility to send a tweet about the current broadcasted program or a specific fragment. The mobile site also contains a daily poll, which is connected to the poll on the website, where visitors can give their opinion and see how many with them also agreed or disagreed.
